Exams & Performance

Year 11 Leavers – Summer 2025

We hope your child is enjoying a well-earned break after completing the longest GCSE exam season that has taken place in recent years. We are looking forward to celebrating with them the culmination of five years’ hard work on results day.

Results day this year is Thursday 21st August 2025 where results will be available for students to collect from the main school hall from 9:30am. If students would like another person to collect their results, they must contact Miss Morris either by email at jmorris@boteler.org.uk or through a letter, signed by themselves, naming the person who will collect the results. Any uncollected results will be posted home on Friday 22nd August 2025. Students need to check their personal emails on a regular basis for correspondence from the College they have applied to. Colleges will contact students directly via email.

Post Results Services

If you think your result/grade is wrong or close to the next grade, please speak to the subject teacher as soon as possible.  They will be able to advise you on the process for making a formal enquiry to have a review of the marking by the awarding body.  This enquiry must be done through school and not individually. The deadline for submission of a review is 25th September 2025.

Click on the link for guidance if you are not happy with your results: JCQ-Post-Results-Services-2025.pdf

Please note that, if after a review of the marking, your result is downgraded, then the new result will be your grade and NOT the original higher grade.

You must sign a consent form to have a review of the marking and there is a fee. If your grade is changed then you will be reimbursed the fee.

The consent form and post results services fees can be accessed here:
