End of Year Rewards Trips – Monday 21st July 2025 – Payment instructions
Dear Parent/Carer,
Thank you to those who have declared interest in your child attending one of the end of year reward’s trip to Chester Zoo (all year groups), Blackpool Pleasure Beach (all year groups) or The Trafford Centre (Year 10 students only). We are now in a position to accept payments in order to secure your child’s place on the trip.
Please be reminded that attendance on the trips is subject to a criteria, with refunds being made should you have paid and your child no longer be invited due to concerns. Students will also not be permitted to attend if they have outstanding debts to school e.g. green card lunches or school trips.
A reminder the trips are to reward:
- Students who have consistently demonstrated positive behaviour, as reflected in their house points.
- Students whose attendance has not been a cause for concern.
Again, we would like to emphasise that not meeting the school’s 96% attendance target does not automatically exclude a student. We understand that absences can arise for genuine and unavoidable reasons, and exceptional circumstances will always be considered. Persistent unauthorised absences, however, may affect a student’s eligibility.
To pay for the Chester Zoo trip, please follow the instructions below:
£13.75 should be paid via the iPay online payment system. The link to make the payment is on the school website and here https://www.ipayimpact.co.uk, then select School Shop then School Trips. The price includes transport and entrance fee, with transport costs being fully funded by school.
To pay for the Blackpool Pleasure Beach trip, please follow the instructions below:
£24 should be paid via the iPay online payment system. The link to make the payment is on the school website and here https://www.ipayimpact.co.uk, then select School Shop then School Trips. The price includes transport and entrance fee, with transport costs being fully funded by school.
To pay for The Trafford Centre, please follow the instructions below:
£1 should be paid via the iPay online payment system. The link to make the payment is on the school website and here https://www.ipayimpact.co.uk, then select School Shop then School Trips. The price includes transport and there is no entrance fee. It is at parents/carers discretion how much spending money their child takes. As school is funding the cost of transport, the £1 payment will be refunded via iPay by 31st July.
To confirm, payment can only be made via iPay.
Please complete the following consent form https://forms.office.com/e/dakLLQzzmC. If you wish to use your child’s Free School Meals voucher to pay for the trip, please indicate this by clicking the appropriate box on the form.
The deadline for payment is Monday 30th June and it is important to note that there are limited places on the trips based, with us operating a waiting list once the capacity has been reached. In addition, once a visit has been paid for, your child will not be permitted to swap to another visit. Further information will be shared prior to the trip to ensure you are fully aware of the plan for the day.
