Dear Parents/Carers

We are pleased to confirm your child’s place on the Year 7 Residential Trip to Tyn-Y-Felin on the island of Anglesey.

Group Allocations

Your child will be attending the trip on the following dates:

Group 1: Forms 7AG and 7IB
Monday 12th May – Wednesday 14th May 

Group 2: Forms 7CL and 7EB
Monday 2nd June – Wednesday 4th June 

Group 3: Forms 7BG and 7AC
Wednesday 4th June – Friday 6th June

Thank you to those parents who have already made payment. A reminder that final payment is due by Friday 23rd May 2025. Payment should be made via iPay (www.ipayimpact.co.uk).

Suggested Packing List

Please ensure all items are clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Clothing

  • Waterproof jacket or coat
  • Warm jumper or fleece
  • T-shirts (at least 3)
  • Long-sleeved tops
  • Trousers or leggings
  • Shorts (weather depending)
  • Comfortable trainers (x2 – one pair may get muddy/wet)
  • Nightwear
  • Underwear and socks (including extra pairs)
  • Sun hat (if sunny)
  • Water bottle
  • Towel
  • Plastic bag for dirty/wet clothes

Toiletries

  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Hairbrush or comb
  • Shower gel, shampoo, deodorant (roll-on)
  • Sun cream

We recommend packing together with your child so they are aware of what they are bringing and where it is in their bag. All belongings should fit into one main bag and a small day bag.
