Religious Studies Key Stage 4

REReligious Studies (R.A.V.E,) is compulsory at Key stage 4

Gifted and Talented students and pupils who make exceptional progress can be entered for the first part of the WJEC GCSE Religious Studies Course in year 10 and complete it in year 11.

Students achieve well and the Department gets some of the best results in the school. In 2013 we were above the National Average scoring 75% A*-C. National Average was 70%. Students also go on to study the subject at A level or similarly related areas like law, philosophy, sociology, psychology – where RS gives them a good basis for Careers in teaching, nursing, solicitors, retail, politics, public sector like police/social work and the Armed Forces.
