Inauguration Service 2013

On Tuesday 17th September our New Year 7 students were officially welcomed into Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School, through the Inauguration Service.

It was a fantastic service which was attended by over three hundred family and friends and eighty of our new year 7 students.

The address was given by The Reverend Paul Wilson, the Rector of Warrington who talked about a ‘New Start’ . He gave us some important messages and made us all think about who we are and the journey we have in front of us.

Head boy, Sam Osborne, and Head Girl, Clarise Lawrence, inspired all the students with their speech about our school and gave the Year 7 students some very important advice and guidance.

The students were formally handed over by their Primary Headteachers who spoke warmly about each individual student.

The service was beautiful and the physical elements complemented the prayers and readings. Our school mission statement – ‘Our school cares’ was clearly communicated throughout the service. The Year 7 students and their parents/carers and family went away knowing that Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School would ensure that their child was very well looked after, nurtured and cared for and that they would achieve at the highest level.
