WA2

Nonfiction writing & fiction reading. SPAG.

Skills assessed:

To retrieve specific information from a text

To identify inferences

To identify subject terminology and discuss its impact on the reader

To track through a text and discuss its impact on the reader Write using an appropriate register to suit purpose and audience. Use a range of punctuation, sentence structures and vocabulary.

Key learning:

To enable students to access exam style questions by deepening their ability to analyse the language and structure of a text. To allow students to demonstrate their ability to structure a clear viewpoint.
