  • Understand what Staple foods are.
  • To recognise the different staple products
  • To develop and use sensory vocabulary in relation to sensory analysis

  • Develop knowledge on the different types of cookers
  • Understand what can and cannot be cooked on each session of the cooker
  • Understand how flour thickens a sauce and develop information on sauces and how they can be used to flavour a dish
