Every child at Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School has the right to achieve and progress to the highest academic standards. Staff and Governors are committed to meeting the learning, pastoral and social needs within a caring environment, regardless of background. At Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School our ambition is for disadvantaged children to achieve at least as well as other students nationally.

Our key objective in using the Pupil Premium Grant is to diminish the difference in progress made between eligible students and their peers.

Funding is applied carefully and strategically Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School to ensure that barriers to progress are removed. When identifying new strategies and allocating funds to particular projects it is important to consider the relative impact of previous projects or where new projects are applied, knowledge is gained from external research in order to maximise the impact of the spend.
