Boiler Room
Welcome to the Boiler Room Website, now located at a brand-spanking new blogsite! This blog will be updated by me (Cliff) as much as possible to let you know whats on and whats coming up @ the Boiler Room. Feel free to reply to my posts but BE WARNED they all get vetted by me first!!
The Boiler Room is Sir Thomas Boteler's Youth Club and runs from 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday. The Boiler Room has been set up to give you somewhere to relax, have fun, meet with friends, and - if you want to - do some learning on your time and at your pace. The Boiler Room is split into four seperate areas.

Fuel
The Fuel area of the Boiler Room is located within the canteen. (I know what you're thinking: "We're always in the canteen and it's rubbish!") Well, between 3pm and 6pm I'm hoping it will be anything but rubbish. There'll be console gaming and tournaments, a giant plasma screen TV with a selection of channels that you want to watch, magazines, board games both new and old with some modern electronic games. Come along and relax with your mates, join in a game, sit and read, watch the TV, listen to some music or join in the gaming!!

The Loft
The Loft is the room that joins onto Fuel. This area is a brand new ICT suite with 24 computers, 8 of which are designed for higher, faster performance with built in graphics cards. A homework club will run in The Loft between 3pm-5pm on Thursdaya for those who need some assistance but feel free to come in anytime between 3pm and 6pm to catch up with your homework, browse the web, play some online games or chat with your friends on MSN!

The Green Room
No, its not green in colour but a Green Room is somewhere where famous bands and artist wait backstage for their turn to come on and perform. The Green Room will change from day to day and something different will be running all the time. There will be a timetable of activities for the week that you can see if you click on the the link below. During the week we will run short courses on subjects that you would like to do, such as: DJ workshops, fashion, health and beauty, dance workshops, circus skills etc.. and when its not being used for courses there will be themed nights such as a competition nights, dance mats, karaoke night, and movie nights.

The Ball Hall
On certain days the Boiler Room has the Ball Hall all to itself!! So we've decided to run some sports stuff that YOU'VE asked for!! Girls Football, Basketball for Fun and Girls' Rugby are just the start!! So check the timetable and see if theres something you want to come along to.
